Seasons of Giving First Quarter Recipients Receive $100,000

Four non-profits across the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and California will each receive $25,000 to support their community efforts thanks to HORNE’s Seasons of Giving initiative, powered by the HORNE Community Foundation.

HORNE team members nominated organizations within their communities to receive a charitable donation.

This quarter’s recipients are:

Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries

Birmingham, AL

The purpose of this ministry is to protect, nurture and restore children and families through Christ-centered services.

Room in the Inn

Nashville, TN

This organization provides programs that aid in human development and recovery through education, self-help and work, all centered around community and long-term support for those who call the streets of Nashville home.

AL Copeland Foundation

Metairie, LA

This foundation is dedicated to saving lives and ending cancer. Their goal, through education and screening, is to offer prevention as the first line of defense. When a cancer is diagnosed, they provide greater access to groundbreaking and lifesaving clinical trials.

REST - Regional Emergency Shelter Team

Yuba City, CA

REST is an organization based on the teachings of Jesus Christ that partners with participating churches, congregations and other community and faith-based organizations to provide cold-weather shelter and warm meals to families, single women and couples who are experiencing homelessness in the Yuba City, CA area.

“We are honored to support our local communities, and their service is a testament to our shared humanity” said Rusty Butcher, HORNE’s managing partner. “These organizations shine a light on the needs around us and pave the way to building a stronger, more loving world.”

The HORNE Community Foundation was established by the firm’s partners in 2021 to provide financial support to the areas where team members live and serve.
