HORNE’s Seasons of Giving Fourth Quarter Recipients Receive $100K

Three non-profits across the states of Texas, Alabama and Mississippi will receive a total of $100,000 to support their community efforts thanks to HORNE’s Seasons of Giving initiative, powered by the HORNE Community Foundation.

HORNE team members nominated organizations within their communities to receive a charitable donation.

This quarter’s recipients are:

Central Texas Food Bank

Austin, Texas

Their mission is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger.

 Penelope House

Mobile, Alabama

They provide safety, protection and support to victims of domestic violence and their children through the provision of shelter, advocacy and individual and community education.

Community Care Network – Sue’s Home

Ocean Springs, MS

They are a faith-based agency that provides a safe environment and a healthy living program for families that sets the foundation for change and breaks the cycle of homelessness.

“Our communities matter to us, and we’re grateful for an opportunity to give back to charitable organizations that mean the most to our team members,” said Neil Forbes, HORNE’s managing partner. “These non-profit organizations give so much to those in need, and it’s an honor to be able to contribute to their efforts.”

The HORNE Community Foundation was established by the firm’s partners in 2021 to provide financial support to the areas where team members live and serve.
