Tyler Bridges is a senior manager for HORNE’s Government Services division and serves on the Technical Advisory Group where he primarily focuses on managing HORNE’s HUD Technical Assistance (TA) portfolio funded directly by HUD’s Community Compass Initiative. Additionally, Tyler assists with several projects and special assignments where he focuses on developing training, technical assistance and policies and procedures on a range of topics including grant management, program design and implementation, 2 CFR 200, reporting and accounting systems, subrecipient management and oversight, and troubleshooting complex regulatory issues.

He joined the firm in 2024 and has more than 15 years of experience as a subject matter expert in the public and private sectors, specializing in CDBG-DR, CDBG-MIT, other HUD CPD annual grant and supplemental programs, and the Disaster Recovery and Grant Reporting (DRGR) system. Prior to joining HORNE, Tyler worked for HUD’s Disaster Recovery and Special Issues (DRSI) Division (now the Office of Disaster Recovery (ODR), where he managed HUD’s DRGR system, helped develop national policy and regulations, and worked directly with grantees and HUD TA Providers to deliver training and technical assistance to HUD’s grantees.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
