Mickey joined HORNE in 2019 and has more than 20 years of public and private accounting experience. Most recently, Mickey served as the chief executive officer for an ophthalmology medical practice. He also has experience as the controller of a nonprofit healthcare organization and the chief financial officer of a for-profit service-related business. Mickey was also selected to act as the interim chief financial officer for a medical-related company that filed Chapter 11 and needed immediate accounting and financial reporting to the U.S. Trustee and other third parties.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Union University. He is licensed to practice public accounting in Tennessee and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
