Michael Chua is a senior manager in HORNE’s government services group where he serves as a subject matter expert for HORNE’s disaster recovery and mitigation portfolio. He provides technical advisory services to both clients and the firm’s program teams regarding policies, regulations, program design and implementation, monitoring and compliance and many other areas related to federal grant implementation, to help our clients achieve impactful recovery.
Michael joined the firm in 2020 with previous experience as a compliance analyst, project manager, program manager and department manager with the State of Louisiana’s Office of Community Development’s Disaster Recovery Unit. His expertise includes designing, implementing, managing and monitoring CDBG-DR and MIT programs. His experience allows him to serve clients across the country with their infrastructure and economic development needs.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Master of Public Administration from Louisiana State University.
