HORNE Receives “Corporate Volunteering Champion” GiveAward

With more than 1400 volunteer hours served in Mississippi, HORNE was awarded the “Corporate Volunteering Champion” GiveAward from Volunteer Mississippi which is a non-profit organization that works to engage and support all Mississippians in service to their communities.

This award recognizes private sector corporations and small businesses for implementing employee volunteer programs that have demonstrable community impact and setting community service as a core value and business strategy.

Service is a core value at HORNE. It’s not only a top priority for how team members interact with clients, but also how they connect with their communities. Each year, through HORNE’s Seasons of Service program, team members receive 8 volunteer hours out of the office to serve their community.

Whether those hours are spent spending time at a local soup kitchen, sorting groceries at an area food bank or decorating at a children’s hospital,

“We are deeply grateful to have received the GiveAward from Volunteer Mississippi,” said Managing Partner, Neil Forbes. “We believe that serving our community is a core part of who we are as a company, and we are proud to have had a positive impact on the lives of those around us.”
