HORNE Board of Directors admits Monique Mahan as a director

Monique Mahan was admitted as a tax director, joining HORNE’s Public and Middle Market group, effective August 31.

With more than 30 years in the tax industry, Monique has experience in providing tax solutions to small businesses. Her areas of expertise include trusts, partnerships, corporate tax preparation and review, tax planning and client accounting.

“The addition of another tax director to our team wasn’t a rushed effort because whoever filled this role is essential to providing quality solutions for our clients,” said Rusty Butcher, managing partner of Public and Middle Market. “Monique is an exceptional leader who not only understands comprehensive tax solutions but also values exceptional client service.”

Monique joined HORNE in 2023 and received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama.
