HORNE Board of Directors admits Joe Green as director of assurance

HORNE’s Board of Directors recently appointed Public and Middle Market Partner, Joe Green, to serve as the next firmwide director of assurance. As he takes on this new role, he will also continue serving as the firm’s SEC director.

With more than 20 years in the accounting industry, Joe has experience providing assurance, internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley consulting services to public and middle market companies in several industries including pharmaceutical, agribusiness and manufacturing companies. He specializes in revenue recognition, stock compensation, business combinations and accounting for income taxes.

“Joe’s experience with the extensive base of clients he has served positions him to be the right next leader for this role,” said Neil Forbes. “I have no doubt that he will serve us all well as the firm’s assurance director. His leadership will help us as we continue to grow and strengthen our assurance practice.”

Joe joined HORNE in 2003 and received his Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy from Mississippi State University.

Special thank you to Managing Partner of Healthcare, Kade Moody, for his dedicated leadership in this role during the last four years.
