Hayley Deer is an operations senior manager on HORNE’s healthcare team. In this role, she offers financial guidance to her team while ensuring administrative tasks run seamlessly by overseeing internal client servers. She also lends support to partners and managers and actively participates in strategic initiatives to drive continuous growth.
Hayley’s experience has come full circle as she rejoins HORNE, adding to her six years of experience serving on Healthcare’s assurance team where she performed attest and consulting services for hospitals and long-term care facilities. Prior to her return to HORNE, she served as chief financial officer at a skilled nursing home management company. In this capacity, she managed accounting records across multiple industries, coordinated the preparation of Medicaid and Medicare cost reports, and spearheaded the overhaul of sponsored 401K plans for improved performance.
Hayley earned her Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University.
