Five non-profits across the states of Mississippi, Hawaii, Louisiana and Florida will receive support for their community efforts thanks to HORNE’s Seasons of Giving initiative, powered by the HORNE Community Foundation.
Each quarter, HORNE team members nominate organizations in their communities to receive a charitable donation.
This quarter, the recipients are: Second Harvest Tallahassee, United Way of Big Bend, Maui Economic Opportunity, Second Harvest Food Bank – Feeding South Louisiana and American Heart Association of Mississippi. Collectively, they will receive $100,000.
From ensuring access to food for those in need to offering critical disaster recovery assistance and addressing the challenges of heart disease, these organizations align with the firm’s core values and common purpose of delivering with care.
“There are so many incredible causes and organizations in our communities, and many of our team members are actively involved in giving back to these groups. Once the idea of Seasons of Giving was introduced, the response from our team members was overwhelming, and they were eager to share about the organizations that mattered most to them,” said Neil Forbes, HORNE’s managing partner. “Our team members are widespread, so we hope that our range in financial contributions will be that much more impactful.”
The HORNE Community Foundation was established by the firm’s partners in 2021 to provide financial support to the areas where team members live and serve.
