About
Rusty is the managing partner of HORNE. Prior to being elected, he served as the managing partner of our public and middle markets focus area and Chairman of HORNE’s Board of Directors. In those roles, Rusty helped create the firm’s investment banking division, HORNE Capital Strategies, and HORNE Philippines Corporation. Rusty helped guide the firm through extraordinary growth to become not only a leading professional services firm but a top 30 CPA firm.
During his career, Rusty has served numerous regional and community banks in an auditing and consulting capacity and has led HORNE’s financial institutions practice. Rusty has a foundation in audit and is a practicing Certified Public Accountant.
Rusty attended the University of Alabama and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Union University. Rusty also attended the Paul W. Barret Jr. School of Banking.
