Salim is a senior manager on HORNE’s Government Services team as a project manager for infrastructure programs under Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery Programs for the Puerto Rico Department of Housing. He serves as a professional civil engineer with over 30 years of experience administering project planning, design, permitting, procurement, contracting and construction of diverse infrastructure projects, from potable water systems and highways to disaster recovery and urban revitalization. His expertise includes potable water, sanitary sewers, highways, transportation, disaster recovery, recreational, office and residential projects.
Salim joined the firm in 2019 with more than 20 years of experience leading program management and production management processes in the architecture and engineering industries.
Salim earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
