About

Rory Tyer is the director of learning and organization development at HORNE and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. He supports Tara Chrisco by overseeing POD team members who design and deliver firm-wide training, which includes everything from HORNE 101 (the first week experience) to the Partner Development Program for prospective firm partners to strategic planning and area-specific trainings requested by practice groups. His main role is supporting a responsive, skilled and growing training team.

His responsibilities include strategic direction to ensure alignment and quality across all trainings, product development, and designing and facilitating leader development processes. He also supports HORNE’s People Solutions work through executive coaching and group facilitation for leadership development, strategic planning and change management.

Rory joined the firm in 2022 and has nearly 10 years of marketing, business development, coaching, facilitation and executive leadership experience. He was also active as an independent singer-songwriter for many years, which helped teach him the value of creativity, how to lead and sustain a team and the importance of execution to turn ideas into reality.

Rory earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from Liberty University and has completed all coursework for the Master of Arts in New Testament Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Having transitioned careers, Rory understands the pitfalls and possibilities of significant change, and leverages this experience to help people gain clarity and make progress toward their better future.
