HORNE Board of Directors Names Chief People Officer

The Board of Directors of HORNE recently named Clay Kittrell as Chief People Officer

Clay’s vast experience in human resources has helped him develop a strong track record of delivering HR transformation, talent management and other HR strategy solutions nationwide.

“As CPO, Clay’s leadership focuses on team member experience and development and executing recruiting strategies aligned with our growth and client needs,” said Rusty Butcher, CEO and Managing Partner of HORNE. “His experience in the industry is tremendous and will continue to strengthen HORNE team members at all levels, while ensuring HR practices reflect our Firm’s goals and values.”

Clay collaborates with senior leaders, providing strategic counsel on HR strategies, effective workforce planning and optimal organizational structure.

Clay joined HORNE in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Millsaps College and a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University.
